Narcissi Daffodil

One of the reasons behind the popularity of narcissus commonly known as daffodil, is how easy they are to grow. Even those new to gardening can successfully grow these lovely bulbs with minimal effort. They thrive in a wide range of climates and after planting, they require little maintenance, which makes them a favorite among busy gardeners.

Narcissus, with their early blooms that are easy to grow, captivating beauty, and ability to light up gardens and hearts, have earned their place as one of the most beloved flower bulbs in the world.

They are often associated with the arrival of spring, symbolizing renewal and hope. As the first flowers to bloom after a cold winter, their emergence from the cold bring joy and optimism. Their bright and sunny colours inspire a sense of rejuvenation and remind us of the beauty that lies ahead after the dreary winter months.

It is safe to say their diversity is bound to suit every taste and preference as they come in an array of varieties - each offering its own unique charm. From classic trumpet daffodils to cupped, dwarf, rock garden, double, novelty and mini varieties to multi-flowered and indoor  narcissus cultivars. Some feature single blooms, while others boast clusters of delicate flowers on a single stem. This vast assortment ensures there is a narcissus for every garden, no matter the size or style.

We even offer an amazing selection of collectors series narcissi for those who already love this amazing plant, can't get enough of it and want to kick it up a notch!

One of my favourite things about narcissi is their versatility. They look equally stunning when planted in large drifts, creating a breathtaking sea of colour, or when tucked into small pots or containers, adorning patios and balconies. Additionally, they blend harmoniously with other spring-blooming flowers, such as tulips and hyacinths, creating captivating floral displays.

So, as you plan your next gardening adventure, consider adding narcissi to your collection and witness the magic of spring unfold before your very eyes.

Make sure you plant them in the fall to have a stunning display of hope and renewal in the spring!
