Snowdrops Single

Single Snowdrops are one of Elke's Faves this season...here's why:

I visited an old farmer's garden in Germany very early this spring and was in awe at the sight of a blanket of Snowdrops. Wow, they were like a symbol of hope and renewal, reminding me that brighter days were just around the corner.  These are real power packs. Plant them in your garden and let their simple, stunning beauty inspire you!

This hardy ‘Snowdrop’ naturalizes well, in optimum growing conditions, by self seeding and bulb offsets. Plant in large groups in well drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

These single petaled Snowdrops are the darlings of the spring garden and one of the most popular early blooming bulb varieties. Snowdrops are surely the very first sign that Spring is on its way. The flowers are pendulous and bell-shaped and will spread over time. Plant them in a sunny location or try a shady spot under a tree or bush.
