This long lived, semi-double tree peony bears huge, fragrant blooms of a lovely lavender-rose shade that soften lightly at the edges.
'Kamada-nishiki' is a deciduous, woody shrub that typically grows 3-5' tall with a 4' spread. The magnificent blooms are fragrant and look as if they are made of silk paper. Flowers are extremely showy, and foliage remains attractive throughout the growing season, either alone or as a frame or backdrop for other flowering plants. Once established in a sunny, well drained location, they will produce many luscious blooms for years to come.
