Hosta of the Year 2020. Dancing Queen's large, 13" wedge-shaped leaves have a rippled 'piecrust' edge. And the lime-green colour is outstanding!

The foliage emerges bright yellow in the spring and remains yellow all season, although they may turn pale yellow to greenish if grown in too much shade. In midsummer, it produces pale lavender flowers. Hostas thrive in all soils from pure clay to boggy ground and they usually get bigger every year. Their dense foliage crowds out most garden weeds. Hostas will bear flowers, usually lavender or white, that grow on tall stalks in early summer. They make a wonderful contrast when planted with small-leaved plants and most certainly add texture to the landscape. Try them in containers: you will love them!
