Stunning colour and easy to grow, ‘Paprika’ is virtually pest and disease-free. Wow!
'Paprika' is a member of the handsome Galaxy hybrids, bearing flat clusters of ruddy orange flowers with bright yellow centres atop sturdy 18 in-46 cm stems. Finely divided, fern-like foliage is greyish green; a splendid accent to many colours. 'Paprika' is excellent as a cut flower or as part of a naturalized border and you can expect long blooming.
Commemorating Achilles, the brave hero of the Trojan War, who was virtually invulnerable—except for his heel—achillea, or yarrow, has long been reputed to have healing properties. Used to heal wounds in battle, it has been called soldier's woundwort. Other common names are carpenter grass and sneezewort. Clumps expand quickly; be sure divide to keep manageable.
