This two toned stunner is perfect in the front of beds, borders and containers. Plant with Mini Botanical tulips like Saxatilis or Dasystemon tarda for continuous interest.
Unlike other Muscari whose foliage is slender, Muscari latifolium has broad, tulip-like foliage. Commonly known as Grape Hyacinth, Muscari provide a wealth of blooms and are very easy to grow. Short spikes of blooms appear very early in the spring and their grass like leaves will appear in the fall. Try planting them in rock gardens, along borders, under trees or naturalized in short grass. For shorter flower bouquet arrangements, try adding a few Muscari: not only are they delightfully sweet smelling but they provide a nice accent to your traditional spring bouquet.
