Looking for something a bit different to appear in your garden in early spring? I think 'Early Sensation' is the perfect choice! Not only does it offer, sunny yellow flowers atop strong stems that stand up to wind and rain, but they're also deer and rodent resistant. And...the bees love them!

Bright, chartreuse-yellow blooms with a blush of pink appear in early spring - sensational indeed!

These plants also sport a leafy crown of bright green foliage and will definitely turn a few heads in the garden. One of the first plants to be cultivated, illustrations of it date back as far as 1610! A word of caution, however, these amazing plants do give off a strong musky odour so we suggest planting them in a perennial border or near shrubs where the scent will not be objectionable. Be sure to provide good drainage as Fritillarias are somewhat sensitive to water retentive soil.
