My favourite flowers have always been Lilies and this year with my new balcony garden to fill, this collection of patio varieties will be perfect. Their shorter stature makes them a good fit for containers, but also the front of sunny garden beds everywhere. Plant them in the spring to enjoy in the summer, while sipping from a mug filled with your favourite beverage.
The Patio Lily Garden Collection includes:
3 Golden Matrix (12/14 cm bulbs)
This powerhouse Asiatic lily will literally glow in the dark it’s so bright. Yellow seems like a pale word to describe it… it’s more like ‘Luscious Lemon’! When planted together like a bouquet, in a container or in the garden, you won’t be able to take your eyes off them.
3 Gwen (12/14 cm bulbs)
Gwen is a lovely bright white, shorter lily that will be awesome planted in containers or garden beds. I’m thinking of planting them alongside the Tiny Padhye to spotlight the contrasting colours.
3 Tiny Ghost (12/14 cm bulbs)
This dwarf lily is the most fabulous colour that is hard to describe. The thick glossy petals are a rich magenta, purple, pink and will mesmerize you the moment they open. I think these would do well planted in one container all by themselves, like a living bouquet.
3 Tiny Dino (12/14 cm bulbs)
Bold, popsicle orange is how I would describe the colour of these short and stunning lilies. Plant in containers and at the front of any sunny garden beds to refresh yourself on a warm, sunny day.
3 Tiny Shadow (12/14 cm bulbs)
This is a vibrant Asiatic Patio lily with petals that combine gorgeous burnt orange colouring with dark maroon centres. The short, strong stems produce flowers that are long lasting and perfectly at home in containers or in the front of sunny garden beds.
